Full-Time Paramedic

Responsibilities

• Assess call situations to determine appropriate actions following advanced paramedic protocols.
• Utilize medical equipment such as defibrillators, EKG monitors, oxygen, suction devices, and IV fluids to deliver advanced patient care.
• Communicate effectively with patients and their loved ones to provide reassurance and information.
• Act as team leader, managing scene and unit responsibilities as needed.
• Drive ambulances responding to emergency calls.
• Collaborate professionally with healthcare and public safety personnel and participate in community outreach programs.

Qualifications & Skills

• High school diploma or GED.
• State Paramedic License and Driver’s License.
• Current BLS, ACLS, NREMT-Paramedic, and CPR certifications (AHA).
• Valid driving record and physical agility.
• Prior healthcare experience preferred.
