About the role
We are seeking passionate Paramedics to provide high-quality patient care and compassionate service in emergency situations.
Responsibilities
- Assessing call situations and determining appropriate action following advanced protocols.
- Using medical equipment such as defibrillators, EKG monitors, oxygen, suction devices, and IV therapy to deliver advanced care.
- Communicating effectively with patients and their families to provide reassurance and information.
- Leading scene and unit management when necessary and driving the ambulance during emergency responses.
- Collaborating professionally with healthcare and public safety personnel and participating in community outreach programs to strengthen community relations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- State Paramedic License
- Ambulance Driver's License and Medical Examiners Card
- State Driver’s License
- BLS, ACLS, PALS or PEPP, ITLS or PHTLS certifications
- Clean driving record and ability to pass Physical Agility Test
- Healthcare experience preferred
