Full-Time Paramedic

Schedule

Immediate overnight shift (6 PM–6 AM) with opportunities to bid for other shifts based on job longevity and availability.

Pay

$26.53 – $44.31 per hour, depending on experience.

Responsibilities

• Assess emergency situations and determine appropriate actions following advanced protocols.
• Provide advanced medical care using equipment such as defibrillators, EKG monitors, oxygen, suction devices, and IV fluids.
• Communicate effectively with patients and their loved ones to offer reassurance and information.
• Lead scene and unit management as needed.
• Drive ambulances during emergency responses.
• Collaborate professionally with healthcare and public-safety personnel.
• Participate in community programs to promote positive community relations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• State Paramedic License and Driver’s License
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NREMT-Paramedic
• Clean driving record and physical agility
• Some healthcare experience preferred
