About the role

Audiologists are needed to provide hearing care services to patients in a clinical setting. This includes conducting hearing tests, fitting and adjusting hearing aids, and providing counseling and support to patients.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive hearing assessments using state-of-the-art equipment.
  • Fitting and adjusting hearing aids to ensure optimal performance.
  • Counseling patients on managing hearing loss and improving quality of life.
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans.
  • Keeping patient records up-to-date and following HIPAA guidelines.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Audiology from an accredited program.
  • Current license to practice audiology in the state of Idaho.
  • Experience in a clinical setting preferred but not required.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of hearing science and disorders.
  • Proficiency in hearing aid technology and fitting techniques.
  • Good organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Passion for helping others improve their quality of life.
