About the role
Audiologists are needed to provide hearing care services to patients in a clinical setting. This includes conducting hearing tests, fitting and adjusting hearing aids, and providing counseling and support to patients.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive hearing assessments using state-of-the-art equipment.
- Fitting and adjusting hearing aids to ensure optimal performance.
- Counseling patients on managing hearing loss and improving quality of life.
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans.
- Keeping patient records up-to-date and following HIPAA guidelines.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Audiology from an accredited program.
- Current license to practice audiology in the state of Idaho.
- Experience in a clinical setting preferred but not required.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of hearing science and disorders.
- Proficiency in hearing aid technology and fitting techniques.
- Good organizational skills with attention to detail.
