Full-Time Oncology Charge Nurse (RN) - Night Shift

Role Overview: The RN Clinical Charge Nurse oversees daily unit operations, ensuring safe, high-quality patient care through effective leadership, resource management, and team collaboration. Key Responsibilities Lead and coordinate clinical activities, making patient assignments and managing patient flow, including bed allocation and discharge planning.Conduct daily patient rounds to evaluate care quality, ensure adherence to evidence-based practices, and implement corrective actions when needed.Facilitate interdisciplinary communication, promote relationship-based, patient-centered care, and support safety and quality standards.Manage staffing needs, monitor equipment, and participate in resource planning to maintain optimal care delivery.Serve as a resource for staff development, mentoring, and fostering a collaborative, respectful environment.Participate in performance improvement initiatives, research activities, and uphold compliance with organizational policies and regulations. Qualifications & Skills Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (preferred).Current RN licensure and certifications such as BLS and RN license (single or multi-state). Minimum of 1-year nursing experience; 2+ years preferred, with clinical leadership experience as relief charge preferred.Strong clinical expertise, communication, teamwork, and leadership skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities, support evidence-based practice, and foster professional growth.
