Full-time Occupational Therapy Assistant
About the role
As an Enhance Rehabilitation occupational therapist assistant, you will work under the guidance of an occupational therapist to support a dynamic team. Your responsibilities include assisting patients in following an individualized plan of care developed by Occupational Therapists, ensuring that every patient receives quality treatment leading to excellent functional outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement occupational therapy treatment programs based on each patient's particular needs.
- Aid patients through all phases of Occupational Therapy treatment and techniques.
- Communicate with patients about their treatment plans and document patient conditions and responses to treatments in charts after each visit.
- Interact with Occupational Therapists, Directors of Rehab, and facility staff to provide continuous communication.
- Operate and apply knowledge of standard occupational therapy equipment.
Requirements
Qualifications include a current license as an occupational therapy assistant in the state of [State], and a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care. Experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not required.
