Full-Time Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant - Opioid Treatment Program

About the Role

HCRC (Health Care Resource Centers) is looking for a Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to work independently with oversight by the medical director. Our services are dedicated to providing individualized treatment integrating pharmacotherapy, clinical counseling, recovery support, and medical services. Responsibilities

• Assist in admitting patients for Methadone and Buprenorphine Treatment.
• Obtain patient history and perform physical exams.
• Document patient information into the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
• Authorize and supervise the dispensing of daily narcotic replacement therapy and other medications in the Medical Director’s absence.
• Consistently monitor patient dosages in conjunction with the Program Physician/Medical Director, Treatment Center Director, Counselors, and Dosing Nurses.
• Perform other related duties as determined by the supervisor.

Requirements

• Must be licensed in the state of Massachusetts.
• Must have 6 months of Addiction Medicine/Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) experience.
• Satisfactory drug screen and criminal background check.

Pay

Salary ranges from $68.00 to $76.93 an hour. The salary of the selected candidate will be set based on a variety of factors, including experience, education, specialty, and training.
