Full-Time Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant - Opioid Treatment Program

About the role

HCRC (Health Care Resource Centers) is seeking a Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant who will work independently under the oversight of the medical director. Services provided integrate pharmacotherapy, clinical counseling, recovery support, and medical services.

Responsibilities

• Aid in patient admissions for Methadone and Buprenorphine Treatment.
• Obtain patient histories and conduct physical exams.
• Document findings in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
• Authorize and supervise the dispensing of daily narcotic replacement therapy and other medications by medical staff in the medical director's absence.
• Maintain consistent monitoring of patient dosages in collaboration with the Program Physician/Medical Director, Treatment Center Director, counselors, and dosing nurses.
• Perform other related duties as directed by the supervisor.

Qualifications

• Licensed in the state of Massachusetts.
• At least 6 months of experience in Addiction Medicine or Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT).

Pay

The salary range for this position is $68.00 to $76.93 per hour, with the final salary determined by a variety of factors including experience, education, specialty, and training.
