About the role

We are seeking a qualified full-time Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our Radiology-PET department.

Responsibilities

  • Perform hot lab functions, including handling radiopharmaceuticals in accordance with regulations
  • Calibrate dose calibrators and conduct QC procedures on gamma cameras
  • Identify patients and explain procedures to ensure comfort and understanding
  • Acquire high-quality images using prescribed technical parameters
  • Ensure test accuracy and assist physicians with imaging procedures
  • Maintain department cleanliness and adhere to regulatory standards
  • Provide courteous assistance to patients, families, and staff
  • Complete assigned tasks timely and perform additional departmental duties as needed

Qualifications

  • Graduate from an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program
  • Current NJ State license and ARRT and/or NMTCB certification
  • BLS certification

Preferred

  • PET experience
  • Two years hospital technologist experience

Schedule

Day shift, 40 hours/week.
