Full-Time Nuclear Medicine Technologist

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform imaging procedures, handle radiopharmaceuticals, calibrate equipment, and ensure patient comfort and safety.

Responsibilities

  • Execute hot lab functions in compliance with regulations
  • Calibrate and maintain gamma cameras and dose calibrators
  • Identify patients and explain procedures clearly
  • Acquire high-quality images and ensure test accuracy
  • Assist physicians with imaging procedures and maintain departmental cleanliness
  • Complete special assignments and adhere to regulatory standards
  • Provide courteous assistance to patients, families, and staff
  • Perform additional departmental duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Graduate from an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program
  • Current NJ State license, ARRT and/or NMTCB certification
  • BLS certification

Preferred Qualifications

  • PET experience
  • Two years hospital technologist experience

Schedule

Day shift, full-time schedule, 40 hours/week
