About the role
We are seeking a qualified Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform imaging procedures, handle radiopharmaceuticals, calibrate equipment, and ensure patient comfort and safety.
Responsibilities
- Execute hot lab functions in compliance with regulations
- Calibrate and maintain gamma cameras and dose calibrators
- Identify patients and explain procedures clearly
- Acquire high-quality images and ensure test accuracy
- Assist physicians with imaging procedures and maintain departmental cleanliness
- Complete special assignments and adhere to regulatory standards
- Provide courteous assistance to patients, families, and staff
- Perform additional departmental duties as assigned
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program
- Current NJ State license, ARRT and/or NMTCB certification
- BLS certification
Preferred Qualifications
- PET experience
- Two years hospital technologist experience
Schedule
Day shift, full-time schedule, 40 hours/week
