Full-Time Night Custodian

About the role

Responsible for maintaining a safe, clean, and healthy building environment through cleaning, minor and preventative maintenance, grounds work, and snow removal. Ensures compliance with school district policies and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform diverse cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, waxing, buffing, vacuuming, and cleaning walls, ceilings, windows, and furniture.
• Handle minor repairs like replacing light bulbs, painting, and equipment maintenance.
• Secure the building by opening, closing, and activating security systems.
• Conduct grounds-keeping tasks including snow clearing, grass trimming, and debris removal.
• Assist with deliveries, setup for meetings, and waste management.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid Class D Driver’s License with a good driving record.
• Knowledge of cleaning procedures, materials, and equipment.
• Ability to perform minor maintenance, follow instructions, and work collaboratively.
• Good physical health for lifting and cleaning tasks.
