About the role

Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is seeking an In-Home Associate Veterinarian to provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and families in the Springfield, MA area.

Responsibilities

• Provide hospice and euthanasia care in clients' homes
• Build strong relationships with pet owners and their families
• Ensure all procedures are performed with compassion and professionalism
• Document patient care and communicate effectively with referring veterinarians

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS)
• Valid U.S. driver's license
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance

Qualifications

• Experience in hospice and euthanasia care preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks

Skills

• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Effective time management and organization
• Comfortable working with sensitive and emotional situations

Schedule

• Flexible 2-5 day-per-week schedules
• Average of 3-4 un-rushed appointments per day

Pay

• 4-day positions starting at $107,500
• 5-day positions offering a base salary of $130,000, plus additional bonus opportunities
