Join Lap of Love as an In-Home, Associate Veterinarian in Wilmington, DE and surrounding areas. We offer flexible 2-5 day-per-week schedules, an average of 3-4 un-rushed appointments per day, and comprehensive support to help you thrive.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and families
• Work with a supportive community of more than 400 veterinarians and support professionals
• Enjoy flexibility and freedom beyond the walls of a traditional clinic
• Receive ongoing training and personalized mentorship

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS)
• Valid U.S. driver's license
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance

Qualifications

• Experience in hospice and euthanasia care preferred
• Strong communication and empathy skills

Pay

Compensation varies based on schedule structure, with 4-day positions starting at $85,000 and 5-day positions offering a base salary of $100,000, plus additional bonus opportunities.

Schedule

Available in 3-day, 4-day, and 5-day full-time opportunities in the Wilmington, DE area. 3-day full-time and part-time opportunities are also available and offer prorated compensation based on schedule.
