About the role

Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to provide in-home hospice and euthanasia care for pets and families in Wilmington, DE and surrounding areas. This role offers flexible scheduling, compassionate work, and a supportive community.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and families
• Work with a team of veterinarians and support professionals
• Enjoy flexible 2-5 day-per-week schedules
• Receive ongoing training and mentorship

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS)
• Valid U.S. driver's license
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance

Qualifications

• Experience in hospice and euthanasia care preferred
• Strong communication and empathy skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

Pay

• 4-day positions starting at $85,000
• 5-day positions offering a base salary of $100,000
