About the role

We’re growing! Join our Meta Store Retail team as we bring Smart Wearables and Meta Quest mixed reality experiences to life. As a Meta Experience Expert, you will deliver a premium, white-glove customer journey through immersive, hands-on demonstrations of cutting-edge wearable and mixed-reality technologies. You’ll represent our client’s brand with excellence—educating customers, guiding them through transformative tech experiences, and converting demos into delighted new users. Our ideal candidate is tech-savvy, detail-oriented, an exceptional communicator, and passionate about delivering world-class customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Become the go-to product expert! Build a deep understanding of our client’s wearable and mixed-reality products—including accessories—and confidently articulate their features, benefits, and real-world impact to every customer.
  • Deliver unforgettable demos. Create immersive, hands-on experiences that showcase how mixed reality and wearable technology can transform the way customers play, learn, work, and interact with the world around them.
  • Support seamless purchases. Guide customers through transactions using our client's Point of Sale (POS) system to ensure a smooth, efficient buying experience.
  • Drive results. Consistently meet or exceed sales goals and key performance indicators. When targets fall short, partner with the Retail Manager to build action plans that get results.
  • Execute daily operational tasks—including opening and closing procedures—and ensure all interactive displays are functioning, clean, and engaging for customers.
  • Keep the experience running smoothly. Perform additional duties as needed to support store operations and deliver exceptional customer experience.

Requirements

Experience and Education:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of customer-facing experience in retail

Skills And Attributes:

  • Extremely strong interpersonal communication - written, verbal, and on camera
  • Must be results and detail-oriented
  • Possess a passion for technology and innovation
  • Able to ask effective questions and be an active listener
  • High level of initiative and self-motivation with a continued drive to learn
  • Able to work well in a team environment
  • Must have reliable transportation to get to and from work on time
  • Flexible availability including weekends and holidays

Physical Requirements

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to: Regularly talk, sit, stand, walk, and bend over, repetitive use of hands/arms, repetitive use of legs and grasp, Frequently lift and carry up to 25 pounds, Occasionally lift and carry up to 50 pounds, Continuous hand/eye coordination and fine manipulation
