Full-Time Medical Technologist

Role: Lead Medical Technologist responsible for providing technical leadership and oversight in the laboratory. Key Responsibilities Plan and coordinate daily laboratory activities and personnel managementPerform biochemical and hematologic testing, investigate abnormal resultsMonitor quality control, inventory, and maintain a safe work environmentParticipate in performance improvement, evaluate new testing methods, and manage laboratory dataCorrelate abnormal results with pathologic states for validity and follow-up testingTeach and train laboratory staff and students, and assist with employee orientationPrimary testing focus in Chemistry, Hematology, Urinalysis, and related areas Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s degree in medical technology or related science; certification preferredBlood Bank experience requiredMT (ASCP)/CLS certification or subspecialty certificationMinimum three years of experience in an accredited hospital laboratoryStrong multitasking, accuracy, communication, and equipment skills
