Full Time Maintenance Technician

About the role

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and driven Maintenance Technician for RPM Petersburg/Colonial Heights/ Lawrenceville. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for providing basic maintenance for the properties we manage throughout the Petersburg/Colonial Heights/ Lawrenceville area.

Strong candidate will bring a full range of knowledge (including but not limited to) general handyman skills, plumbing, carpentry, dry walling, painting, landscaping, and HVAC.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic maintenance for managed properties as assigned
• Perform and provide exceptional quality work and services
• Perform work in a timely manner
• After-hours calls and site visits as necessary
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• 1-2 years’ experience
• Handyman certification preferred but not required
• Ability to prepare, write and communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and staff
• General maintenance and repair knowledge
• Willingness to learn
• Must provide own tools necessary for basic maintenance functions and reliable transportation (mileage reimbursement provided)
• Willingness to be on-call 24/7
