Role Overview
Responsible for light maintenance, repairs, and cleaning tasks performed safely and professionally. Must use basic mechanical skills and tools, and interpret blueprints, schematics, and manuals. Conducts routine quality inspections to ensure work meets engineering standards, prioritizes safety, and maintains morale and efficiency.
Key Duties
- Supervise and assist maintenance staff
- Manage work orders, maintain records, and streamline systems
- Perform diverse tasks such as electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, HVAC, and mechanical system maintenance, including boiler operations and groundskeeping
- May be required for on-call duties
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred; trade/vocational training advantageous
- Five years of building systems experience preferred
- Valid driver's license may be required with a clean driving record
- Strong communication skills and knowledge of codes and safety protocols are essential
