Full Time LPN - Overnights

Full-time overnight shift for our adolescent population in Mount Laurel, NJ. Schedule: Thursday 9p–9a, Friday 9p–9a, Saturday 9p–9a.

About the role

Under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN), you will provide nursing services as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to persons served by Bancroft, operating within your license scope and in strict accordance with regulations from the Nurse Practices Act, Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD), N.J. Department of Health, N.J. Department of Education Administrative Code, CARF, JCAHO, DYFS (where applicable), Individual Program Plan (IPP), HIPAA, and Bancroft policies.

Responsibilities

• Review and accurately transcribe physician orders into each person’s medical record.
• Obtain detailed health histories and conduct health screenings and physical assessments (vital signs, height, weight, pain assessments, nutritional needs, abuse and neglect screening).
• Document baseline health status and identify changing healthcare needs; report findings to the RN for physician review.

Requirements

• Current and valid New Jersey LPN license from an accredited nursing program.
• Prior nursing experience with developmentally disabled and/or traumatically brain-injured individuals preferred (new graduates welcome).
