Full-Time Light Equipment Operator/Laborer

Position Summary

Operate vehicles and equipment; perform physical road/property maintenance in various weather conditions. Reports to the Roadmaster & Sewer Manager.

Primary Responsibilities

• Safely operate township vehicles and tractors.
• Maintain and repair township roads.
• Operate equipment during snow/ice control as required.

Training Provided

• Front‑end loader safety and cinder loading.

Required Skills & Abilities

• Experience with hand and power tools.
• Ability to follow instructions, work independently, handle heavy manual labor, and adapt to adverse weather.
• Demonstrated safe operation of equipment; openness to learning new skills.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• At least one year’s experience with standard‑shift vehicles and outdoor work.
• Valid Class B PA Commercial Driver’s License (CDL preferred).
