Position Summary
Operate vehicles and equipment; perform physical road/property maintenance in various weather conditions. Reports to the Roadmaster & Sewer Manager.
Primary Responsibilities
- Safely operate township vehicles and tractors.
- Maintain and repair township roads.
- Operate equipment during snow/ice control as required.
Training Provided
- Front‑end loader safety and cinder loading.
Required Skills & Abilities
- Experience with hand and power tools.
- Ability to follow instructions, work independently, and handle heavy manual labor.
- Adaptability to adverse weather conditions.
- Demonstrated safe operation of equipment and openness to learning new skills.
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- At least one year’s experience with standard‑shift vehicles and outdoor work.
- Preferred: Valid Class B PA Commercial Driver’s License.
