Full-Time Intensive Care Nurse

About the Role

Provide and coordinate patient care, including assessments, developing care plans, medication administration, wound care, vital sign monitoring, respiratory and ventilator management, documentation, patient and family education, equipment maintenance, and discharge planning.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and change dressings
• Monitor patient conditions and vital signs
• Serve as primary coordinator for interdisciplinary care
• Communicate patient needs effectively to the healthcare team

Requirements

• Active RN licensure (Tennessee or compact state)
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification within 6 months of hire
• One year of RN experience (ICU experience preferred)
• Specialty certification is a plus
