Full Time Instructor, Department of Preventive and Restorative Sciences

Full-time Instructor position in the Department of Preventive and Restorative Sciences with a focus on Fixed and Removable Prosthodontics. This role contributes to the department’s national and international reputation through excellence in teaching and research.

About the role

This specialty program educates predoctoral and postgraduate dental students in Prosthodontics. The position reports to the Department Division Chief of Preventive and Restorative Sciences and is a 1-year contract spanning July 1 through June 30, renewable for reappointment at the end of each academic year.

Responsibilities

• Predoctoral and postdoctoral clinical teaching in Fixed and Removable Prosthodontics
• Didactic instruction in Fixed and Removable Prosthodontics
• Conduct and publish research in the specified areas

Requirements

• Eligibility for a Pennsylvania state dental license or a Restricted Pennsylvania state dental license
• DScD, DMD/DDS, or equivalent degree (preference given to candidates holding these credentials)
