Full-Time Infusion Nurse (RN) - Springfield, VA

About the role

The Infusion Nurse will contribute to the company’s growth by providing direct patient care at our clinic in City, STATE ABBREVIATION. The role involves assessing and documenting the health status of patients, delivering infusions or injections according to prescribed protocols, assisting in maintaining medical inventory and supplies, and providing onsite supervision for all patients.

Responsibilities

• Assess and document the health status of the patient
• Deliver infusions or injections in accordance with prescribed protocols and organization guidelines
• Avoidably communicate with referring/prescribing providers, such as order clarification, patient status, and plan of care
• Provide onsite supervision for all patients

Requirements

• Current RN licensure in ****State****, and open to getting licensure in another state
• Experience in outpatient infusion therapy, working in a clinical setting, seeing multiple patients at one time
• Comfortable working autonomously, inserting 5+ peripheral IVs per shift
• ACLS & PALS Certification (preferred)
• Current BLS CPR certification
• Excellent IV skills (infusion therapy experience a plus)
• Experience and strong familiarity utilizing Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems
• Ability to work 1 to 2 Saturdays a month

Qualifications

Preferred qualifications include:

• ACLS & PALS Certification
• Experience utilizing Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems
• Ability to work 1 to 2 Saturdays a month

Schedule
