Full-Time Infusion Nurse (RN) - Midlothian, VA

About the role

Local Infusion is seeking an Infusion Nurse to provide direct patient care at our center(s) in Midlothian, VA. The nurse will ensure patients receive the highest level of care in infusion therapy, working autonomously with a predictable schedule and a manageable 3:1 patient‑to‑clinician ratio. The ideal candidate has strong IV skills, experience with biologic drugs, and a passion for advancing specialty infusion care.

Responsibilities

• Assess and document the health status of each patient.
• Deliver infusions or injections in accordance with prescribed protocols and organizational guidelines.
• Assist in maintaining medical inventory and supplies.
• Communicate openly with referring/prescribing providers regarding order clarification, patient status, and plan of care.
• Provide onsite supervision for all patients.

Requirements

• Current RN licensure in Virginia (open to obtaining licensure in another state).
• Experience in outpatient infusion therapy and working in a clinical setting with multiple patients.
• Comfortable working autonomously, inserting 5+ peripheral IVs per shift.
• ACLS & PALS certification (preferred).
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• Excellent IV skills; infusion therapy experience a plus.
• Strong familiarity with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
• Ability to work 1–2 Saturdays per month.

Schedule

Full‑time position with predictable hours, a 3:1 patient‑to‑clinician ratio, and the requirement to work 1–2 Saturdays per month.
