Full Time Infant Nanny

Hourly wage: $20-22 per hour. Overtime wage: $30-33 per hour.

About the role

Jovie is hiring an experienced, engaging, and fun nanny to work with various families. You’ll provide care for young infants and toddlers while their parents work. Most assignments are Monday – Friday during traditional working hours.

Responsibilities

• Engage in fun, play, reading, arts and crafts, and similar activities in families' homes
• Maintain clear communication with parents and coworkers
• Work 6 - 9 hour shifts between 7am - 7pm, at least five days per week
• Commute to assignments using reliable transportation
• Use a provided Kid-Kit filled with age-appropriate activities and games during childcare assignments

Requirements

• Genuine enjoyment of children and a creative, child-focused approach
• At least 1 year of day-to-day infant experience
• 3 references: 2 related to working with children (paid or unpaid) and 1 character reference
• At least 18 years of age or older
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
• High School Diploma or GED
• First Aid and CPR certification (employer-sponsored training available)

Working Conditions

• Active, kid-centric work environment including clean-up of activities
• Part of each day may be spent outside, weather permitting, with active play
• Regular lifting, bending, squatting, reaching, and pushing
• Must be able to lift 35 pounds safely
• Frequent movement from the floor and back throughout the day
• Ability to react quickly and calmly to emergent situations
