About the Role
The Registered Nurse (RN) provides comprehensive patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing interventions. They utilize evidence-based practices, technology, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver personalized care.
Responsibilities
- Perform patient assessments and develop care plans with patient and family involvement.
- Delegate and coordinate care, ensuring quality and safety.
- Evaluate patient outcomes and update care plans as needed.
- Adhere to legal and ethical standards in nursing practice.
- Maintain accurate documentation and support the growth of the nursing profession.
Requirements
- Current RN license in the practice state; valid compact licenses transferred within 60 days.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution.
Skills
- Excellent communication and critical thinking.
- Patient care coordination and documentation.
Physical & Other Requirements
- Ability to see, read, and operate monitors and equipment.
- Manual dexterity for manipulating equipment and preparing medications.
- Physical capability to lift, transfer, and transport patients and supplies.
- Ability to stand, walk, and communicate effectively in fast-paced settings.
