About the role
Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking a dynamic, service-oriented Host to join their team. SHG is committed to hospitality, respect, authenticity, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate activities of restaurant personnel to provide fast and courteous service to guests
- Schedule dining reservations and arrange special services for diners
- Greet and escort guests, provide menus
- Inspect dining room serving stations for neatness and cleanliness
- Collect payments from guests
- Total receipts at the end of the shift
- Perform various other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Minimum of High School education
- One (1) year of similar role experience preferred
Qualifications
- Team player
- Ability to multi-task
- Effective verbal communication skills
- Ability to exceed guest and team member expectations
- Basic mathematical skills for making change and giving refunds
- Ability to work flexible hours and shifts
Skills
- Ability to operate available equipment, such as cash registers, calculators, etc.
