Full-Time Guest Services Representative - SpringHill Suites

About the role

As a Guest Services Representative for High Hotels LTD., you are required to positively represent the hotel to the guest by responding courteously and efficiently to guest needs, acting as a source of information about the hotel and local area, and assisting guests during arrivals and departure. You will also be responsible for operating the switchboard and handling departmental accounting and financial transactions as they relate to this position.

Responsibilities

• Responding to guest requests and inquiries.
• Taking, modifying, and canceling guest reservations.
• Communicating hotel facilities and services to all guests.
• Providing information on the local area and points of interest.
• Assisting guests with arrivals and departures.
• Answering front desk phone.
• Cash handling.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or general equivalent (GED) preferred.
• The ability to work in both a team environment and independently.
• Customer service experience.
• Strong math, reading, and communication skills.
• Availability to work weekends and holidays is required.

Qualifications

This full-time role consists of five shifts per week. Team members may be scheduled for 7:00 AM-3:00 PM or 3:00 PM-11:00 PM shifts on varying days, including weekends and holidays. Flexibility to work either shift is required, as schedules will change based on business needs. Weekends include a $1/hr. shift premium!

Pay

Starting Rate: $15.72/hr. Potential for increase is based on experience.

Schedule
