Full Time Grocery Merchandiser - Des Plaines, IL

The Grocery Merchandiser will manage an assigned territory by completing store visits, surveys, and tasks using provided technology. This position requires merchandising, the ability to repeatedly bend and lift up to 50 pounds, and consistent use of mobile apps for reporting and communication. You will work independently, follow directions, and maintain excellent communication skills.

Location: Palatine/Des Plaines, IL (within a 25-55 mile radius). This is a full-time position, 40 hours per week, 5 days a week.

Responsibilities

• Gain and maintain product distribution by establishing strong relationships with store teams.
• Perform retail tasks such as ordering products, stocking shelves, and conducting audits in grocery stores.
• Travel to and between store locations within the designated territory.
• Verify that clients' products are accurately represented on store shelves and well-stocked; order products if low or out of stock.
• Maintain a safe working environment and professional appearance while adhering to dress code and attendance guidelines.
• Stand, walk, bend, squat, and lift regularly throughout the day (up to 50 pounds).
• Work in a fast-paced retail environment with minimal supervision.
• Comply with store team guidelines and attend client kickoff video calls and team check-ins as required.
• Switch between tasks such as stocking, reporting, and communicating with store teams throughout the day.
• Use mobile apps for reporting, photo uploads, task completion, and communication.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Reliable transportation, valid Driver License, and proof of automobile insurance.
• Reliable phone (within 5 years old) with service and internet for daily communication.
• Ability to drive to stores in assigned territory to complete retail tasks and audits.
• Strong communication skills and ability to follow directions independently.
• Bilingual preferred but not required.
• Previous retail, sales, or merchandising experience is a plus but not required.
