Full Time Floor Technician (Richmond)

Responsibilities

• Keep floors clean and in good condition using various cleaning tools and techniques, including stripping, waxing, and buffing.
• Operate specialized equipment like buffers, scrubbers, and vacuums.
• Ensure floors are safe and sanitized.
• Specialize in specific floor types like natural stone or carpet.
• Follow safety procedures and report any maintenance needs.

Requirements

• 1 year minimum experience.
• Experience working with various types of floor equipment (High and Low speed scrubber, auto scrubbers, carpet extraction equipment, side by side scrubbers).
• Knowledge of surface types and appropriate cleaning chemicals.
• Stripping, waxing, and buffing experience required.
• Prior floor work experience including safely stripping, scrubbing, and recoating of vinyl floors, carpet extracting, pressure washing, automatic scrubbers, and other various floor machines.
• Prior cleaning experience.
• Flexible to help with other cleaning duties as needed.
• Eligible to work in the United States.
• Must be able to read English.
• MUST PASS A BACKGROUND AND DRIVER LICENSE SCREENING.
• Over 18 years of age.
• Reliable form of transportation.
