Full Time Field Service Technician

Job Summary

Rotary and Digital Solutions (RDS) Division of The Hillman Group has two openings for a Full Time Field Service Technician in the Fort Worth area. The position involves servicing kiosks and performing on-call repairs. The territory includes 70+ kiosks, with around 40 hours per week. The pay range is $22-24 per hour. A company car, cell phone reimbursement, and a corporate gas card are provided. Benefits include health, dental, life, short- and long-term disability insurance, and a 401(k) plan.

About the Role

This role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, background in electromechanical repair and maintenance, and prior experience in retail merchandising, field operations, and customer service. It also demands computer literacy, ability to represent Hillman professionally, and reliable transportation with a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Re-stock and perform routine service on kiosks as needed.
• Perform on-call repairs or adjustments to the machine when it goes out of order.
• New kiosk installations or swaps of machines in the local area.
• Maintain machines in the territory daily for issues and contact stores to resolve connectivity or power issues.
• Keep track of inventory for re-stocking machines in Kiosk Tech’s possession.
• Grow revenue in the territory by optimizing machine locations, uptime, product mix, store relationships, etc.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Background in electromechanical repair and maintenance (preferred).
• Prior experience in retail merchandising, field operations, and customer service (preferred).
• A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a similar profile (preferred).
• Experience with tools and troubleshooting mechanical problems.
• Ability to read, write, and speak fluent English to include technical jargon.

Qualifications

• Computer literacy, including knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to always represent Hillman professionally.
• To work weekends when required.

Skills

• Operational Equipment: Must have an excellent driving record with a valid driver's license. Clean driving record is mandatory. Major driving violations will eliminate potential candidates.
• Physical Demands: Medium lifting up to 30 lbs., occasionally pushing/pulling up to 100 lbs.
