Full-time Female Chaplain

About the Role

The Chaplain is responsible for providing comprehensive Christian pastoral ministry to the residents and staff of the correctional facility. The Chaplain also provides other services to inmates, staff, public officials, and the community that will enhance the overall ministry.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Christian pastoral care and spiritual guidance to incarcerated individuals and correctional facility staff.
• Facilitate worship services, Bible studies, and religious education programs.
• Provide counseling and emotional support to residents, staff, and their families.
• Collaborate with public officials, community organizations, and other stakeholders to strengthen ministry outreach.
• Develop and equip an alliance of believers to advance the Gospel within correctional communities.
