Responsibilities

  • Deliver assigned classes using pedagogy and technology that support student learning.

  • Develop and maintain curriculum and supporting course materials aligned with program learning outcomes.

  • Maintain student records, attendance, grades, and documentation as required.

  • Manage a classroom environment conducive to learning and adhere to safety standards.

  • Facilitate student achievement of program learning outcomes using Learning Management Systems.

  • Provide academic-related coaching and monitoring to assigned student advisees.

  • Monitor and document student performance, provide necessary interventions, and engage with students through various means.

  • Participate in professional development activities to enhance instructional and technical skills.

  • Engage in community service and develop industry contacts to support college relationships.

  • Provide institutional support as requested by college administration.

Requirements

  • Strong working knowledge of current technologies appropriate to area of instruction.

  • A minimum of three (3) years of experience as a Registered Nurse.

  • A current, unencumbered Indiana Registered Nurse license.

  • A Master’s degree in nursing, or a Bachelor’s degree with a written academic plan for completing a Master’s degree in nursing.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree in nursing with a written academic plan for completing a Master’s degree in nursing.

  • Continued employment contingent upon documented progress towards the approved academic plan.

Skills

  • Effective teaching and instructional design skills.

  • Ability to use Learning Management Systems effectively.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Experience in academic advising and student support.

  • Proficiency in current technologies relevant to nursing education.

Pay

$58,000 to $62,500 annually.

Schedule
