Full Time - Facility Services - Maintenance Repairer - Corporate

About the role

Come join the Omega Management Team for this exciting opportunity. We are looking to add a Maintenance Repairer with our Facility team in Wichita, KS. The role involves performing general maintenance repairs and preventive maintenance throughout the entire portfolio, and being responsible for maintaining and repairing interior, exterior, and site conditions using appropriate materials and equipment while following manufacturer directions. The employee continually strives to increase working knowledge of the property.

Responsibilities

• Perform necessary repairs and preventive maintenance throughout the entire property.
• Assist and maintain landscape and irrigation systems.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and well‑groomed professional appearance.
• Wear company‑approved attire with identification badge visible at all times.
• Demonstrate honesty, trustworthiness, enthusiasm, and a team/project‑oriented mindset.
• Operate within authority delegated by supervisors; no independent authority beyond that.
• Provide customer‑service oriented support, promoting positive resident/tenant relations.
• Work independently, direct others when needed, and show willingness to learn.
• Communicate effectively and participate fully in staff meetings and designated training programs.
• Adhere to all Omega Management Group policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• Minimum one year of maintenance experience in a related field or formal training from a trade school (required).
• Reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and current liability insurance coverage.
• Ability to work full‑time.
