Full-Time Evening Guest Services Representative - Courtyard by Marriott

About the role

As a Guest Services Representative for High Hotels Ltd., you are required to positively represent the hotel to the guest by responding courteously and efficiently to guest needs, acting as a source of information about the hotel and local area, assisting with arrivals and departure, operating the switchboard, and handling departmental accounting and financial transactions as they relate to this position.

Schedule

• Full-time opportunity requiring availability to work 5 shifts a week from 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
• Days will vary
• Weekend and holiday availability are required
• Weekends include a $1/hour shift premium

Pay

Starting rate: $17.28/hour. Potential for increase is based on experience.

Responsibilities

• Take, modify, and cancel guest reservations
• Communicate hotel facilities and services to guests
• Provide information on the local area and points of interest
• Assist guests with arrivals and departures
• Answer the front desk phone
• Handle cash accurately

Requirements

• High school diploma or general equivalency (GED) preferred
• Customer service experience preferred
• Capable of handling money accurately
• Reading, math, and communication skills
• Ability to work weekends and holidays
