About the Role
The Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) provides patient care under the supervision of Physical Therapists, focusing on improving mobility, independence, and daily living skills for physically challenged individuals.
Responsibilities
- Assist in delivering physical modalities and therapy treatments.
- Support patient progress toward mobility and self-care goals.
- Collaborate with the therapy team to develop and implement care plans.
Requirements
- Must be currently licensed as a PTA in the state of employment.
- Preferred minimum of one year of clinical experience.
- Home health experience is advantageous.
