About the Role

The Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) evaluates and provides skilled speech-language therapy in a home-based setting, including private homes, assisted living, and memory care facilities.

Responsibilities

• Assess and treat patients with language impairments, motor speech disorders, dysphagia, cognitive communication issues, voice disorders, and communication device needs.
• Work with individuals recovering from strokes or with progressive conditions like Parkinson’s disease and dementia.

Requirements

• Current valid state licensure as an SLP.
• Dependable transportation in good condition, capable of driving in all weather conditions.
• Possess a valid driver’s license, automobile liability insurance, and adhere to safety protocols.
• Ability to effectively evaluate and manage diverse patient needs.
