Role Overview: The Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) evaluates and provides skilled speech-language therapy in a home-based setting, including private homes, assisted living, and memory care facilities. Key Responsibilities Assess and treat patients with language impairments, motor speech disorders, dysphagia, cognitive communication issues, voice disorders, and communication device needs.Work with individuals recovering from strokes or with progressive conditions like Parkinson's disease and dementia. Qualifications & Skills Current valid state licensure as an SLP.Dependable transportation in good condition, capable of driving in all weather conditions.Possess a valid driver’s license, automobile liability insurance, and adhere to safety protocols.Ability to effectively evaluate and manage diverse patient needs.
