About the role

In this role, you will work under the direction and supervision of our Medical Director, Registered Nurse, and Program Director in a collaborative effort to provide the best care and support to patients at our outpatient treatment centers. You’ll engage directly with patients, offering stellar service during challenging times in their lives.

Responsibilities

• Supply and administer medication pursuant to the physician's order and record dosage administered in the medical record.
• Conduct a daily sight and count inventory of the medication supply and maintain absolute accuracy in accounting for medication supplied or administered.
• Collect fees and perform daily cash reconciliation in the absence of a cashier.
• Ensure the proper disposal of medical waste.
• Observe patient demeanor prior to dosing and contact other centers to verify dosages as needed.
• Administer lab tests as required, including patient vital signs, TB tests, and collect data for review by the Medical Director or RN.
• Schedule and screen patients to be seen by the Medical Director.
• Assist the Medical Director in collecting data for patient history and physicals.
• Maintain absolute control, tracking, and confidentiality of all patient medical paperwork.
• Actively participate in CARF preparation and the state audit process.
• Interface with the public and patients by answering phones, greeting visitors, and monitoring patient activities on the center’s premises.

Requirements

• Active LPN license in your state.
• Understanding of opiate addiction, medical terminology, general nursing knowledge, and techniques.
• Basic mathematics skills and computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
• Basic typing skills.
• Minimum of 1 year of direct patient contact; prior clinical experience is helpful.

LPN or RN licensure in Oregon required.
