Full-Time Donor Door Greeter (Auburn, AL)

About the role

As a Donor Door Greeter at our Auburn retail store, you are the welcoming face that connects donors to our mission of helping individuals, families, and organizations in the community. You play a key role in processing donations efficiently while providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors quickly and efficiently with excellent customer service.
• Receive donated goods by unloading vehicles and carrying in donated items.
• Provide receipts to donors and maintain accurate donation records using a hand-held device.
• Organize donations into bins to assist with accurate processing.
• Perform general housekeeping duties and keep the work area neat and clean.
• Assist truck drivers with loading and unloading donations.
• Work other areas of the store as requested by the leadership team (cross-trained in all areas of retail operations).

Requirements

• Ability to use a hand-held electronic device.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Prior experience in retail or customer service (preferred).
• Warehouse experience (preferred).
• Must be available to work any shifts Monday through Sunday, with fluctuating hours based on business needs (e.g., seasonal changes, donation volumes).
