About the role
Full-time Dining Room Server position in a Senior Living Community, offering a starting wage of $23.50 per hour.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality meal service and create a gracious environment
- Take accurate orders and communicate them to kitchen staff
- Offer exceptional customer service to residents
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and sanitation standards
- Oversee bistro areas, manage food presentation, and stock supplies
- Learn residents' dietary needs, preferences, and special requests
- Ensure hot food is served hot and cold food is served cold
- Participate in quality assurance activities
- Sanitize tables and reset dining areas
- Assist with special functions
- Attend training, orientation, and mandatory meetings
- Understand and comply with regulations such as ADA, infection control, OSHA, and health department standards
Qualifications & Skills
- Demonstration of core values: love, kindness, honesty, fairness, respect
- Experience in healthcare dietary services or restaurants preferred, but not required
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
