Dining Room Server - Full Time

About the role

Provide high-quality meal service and create a gracious environment for residents in a senior living community.

Responsibilities

• Take accurate orders and relay them to the kitchen.
• Maintain cleanliness and ensure a sanitary dining setting.
• Assist with special functions and events.
• Learn and accommodate residents' dietary preferences and needs.
• Serve hot and cold foods at appropriate temperatures.
• Participate in quality assurance and sanitize dining areas.
• Reset tables and attend training sessions.
• Oversee bistro areas as directed, including food presentation and stock management.
• Be present during full meal service.
• Participate in team meetings.
• Help ensure a positive dining experience for residents.

Requirements

• Demonstrate core values such as love, kindness, honesty, respect, and fairness.
• Previous experience in a healthcare or restaurant setting is preferred but not required.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Knowledge of regulations from ADA, health departments, infection control, and OSHA is essential.
