Dining Room Server (Full time)

Responsibilities

• Serves meals to Plymouth Place residents in a restaurant-style atmosphere.
• Ensures tables are clean and tidy when guests arrive.
• Serves food and beverages accurately, providing suggestions and answering questions.
• Observes diners to fulfill additional requests and perceive when the meal is completed.
• Removes dishes efficiently to meet sanitation standards.
• Washes and sets up tables according to etiquette rules, including clean linen, silverware, and glassware.
• Restocks supplies as needed before each meal service.
• Completes side work before, during, and after meal service efficiently.
• Cleans and sanitizes department storage, refrigeration/freezer, equipment, utensils, waste containers, etc., as assigned.
• Routinely checks and participates in set-up, carry-through, and clean-up of daily caterings.
• Uses the Point of Sale (P.O.S.) system confidently and efficiently, charging guests as required.
• Takes down dining areas, cleans tables, stocks ingredients, and monitors inventory levels.
• Cleans food stations and other areas as required.

Requirements

• A high school diploma is preferred but not required.
• The minimum age requirement is 16 years old.
• Minimum one-year experience in a food server role is not required.
• Strong communication skills are required, both oral and written.
• Ability to multi-task and organize effectively is necessary.
• Good teamwork skills are essential.
• The candidate must be dependable, reliable, and motivated.
