Full-Time Dialysis LPN

Responsibilities

• Utilize technical and critical thinking skills on-site and within the Correctional Facility.
• Perform and monitor dialysis treatment under the supervision of the Registered Nurse.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate care plans for patients, including communicating with various healthcare professionals.
• Communicate significant information to appropriate team members and ensure paperwork is completed accurately.
• Administer medication, collect laboratory specimens, and perform routine tests.
• Assume primary nurse responsibilities and delegate tasks as necessary.
• Assist in building and maintaining a facility/clinic culture of safety and quality.
• Participate in in-service education programs and assist in the orientation of new staff members.

Requirements

• High School diploma/GED
• Current LPN license for Michigan
• Current CPR Certification
• One-year clinical dialysis experience

Qualifications

• Strong technical/computer proficiency
• Ability to read, write, speak, understand, and communicate in English
• Understands basic renal function and the consequences of renal failure
• Recognizes changes in patients on dialysis and adjusts therapy accordingly
• Understands legal consequences of nursing actions
• Promotes education of patients and understanding of their disease and treatment
• Knows and follows Rendevor Dialysis policies and procedures for infection control

Pay

• Hourly rate: $31.00 - $35.00/Per Hour

Schedule

• Monday - Saturday, 6am - 6pm
