Responsibilities
- Utilize technical and critical thinking skills on-site and within correctional facilities.
- Perform and monitor dialysis treatments under supervision of a registered nurse.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate care plans for patients.
- Communicate significant information to appropriate team members and patients.
- Document patient care accurately and ensure paperwork is completed properly.
- Administer medications, collect laboratory specimens, and perform routine tests.
- Assume primary nurse responsibilities as directed.
- Assist in staffing, scheduling, and other day-to-day functions of the unit.
- Participate in in-service education programs and assist in the orientation of new staff members.
Requirements
- High school diploma/GED.
- Current LPN license.
- CPR certification.
- One-year clinical dialysis experience.
Qualifications
- Strong technical and computer proficiency.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Understand basic renal function and its consequences.
- Recognize changes in patients and make necessary adjustments to their therapy.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, healthcare team, and other staff members.
- Understand legal consequences of nursing actions.
- Promote education of patients and understanding of their disease and treatment.
- Follow Rendevor Dialysis policies and procedures for infection control.
- Participate in CPR as needed.

Pay
Hourly rate: $30.00 - $33.00/Per Hour (Based on documented experience).
Schedule
This Dialysis Unit operates 6 days per week with flexible schedules.
Supervision
This position will report to the Unit Leader.
Background Check
The Department of Corrections and applicable law require a comprehensive background check for all employees working in this position. This background check will be conducted after an offer, if any, is made.
Physical Demands
This role exists in a hospital or medical unit of a post-acute or correctional facility. This role may include exposure to chemicals and blood-borne pathogens. This role routinely involves the use of both medical and standard office equipment. This role cannot be performed remotely.
