Full Time Dairy and Frozen Department Manager

Role Overview

Responsibilities

• Manage dairy and frozen departments
• Safeguard shelves, rotate displays, organize merchandise
• Assist with receiving products
• Create and oversee work schedules
• Train and develop staff
• Manage inventory and shrink
• Maintain store cleanliness and sanitation
• Support store operations

Qualifications & Skills

• Customer-focused, friendly, and outgoing
• 2-3 years of experience in dairy/frozen departments preferred
• Knowledge of stocking, display setup, and case management
• Motivated to grow career and learn new skills

Key Duties

• Build lasting customer connections
• Manage product rotation and displays (may involve lifting up to 50 lbs.)
• Assist with receiving shipments and merchandising
• Create and oversee employee work schedules
• Train and develop team members
• Order seasonal and daily items, manage shrink
• Maintain store cleanliness and sanitation
• Collaborate on department tasks to ensure excellent service

Physical & Environmental Requirements

• Frequent lifting/carrying up to 60 lbs., pushing/pulling, standing, and operating equipment
• Occasional bending and lifting over 50 lbs.
• Exposure to cold and wet surfaces
