About the Role
The CVICU Nurse Manager oversees daily operations of a 19-bed cardiovascular intensive care unit, leading a team of 65 healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities
- Ensures safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care by managing resources and promoting evidence-based practices.
- Maintains compliance with clinical and operational standards.
- Collaborates with leadership on strategic planning and innovation.
- Supports staff development and fosters a positive work environment.
- Participates in organizational initiatives to enhance clinical and operational performance.
Requirements
- BSN or equivalent; current RN licensure.
- National certification in specialty within one year of hire.
- Minimum five years of recent nursing experience, including two years in relevant clinical or leadership roles.
Qualifications (Preferred)
- Master’s degree in Nursing.
- Prior leadership experience in a healthcare setting.
