Full Time Customer Service Representative, Cabot Southside Branch

About the Role

Provide warm and friendly service to customers and potential customers. The CSR is responsible for retaining and servicing existing relationships and opening new deposit accounts. The CSR will also promote and cross-sell bank products and services.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the Seven Step Retail Sales Process to establish deep relationships with new customers or to cross-sell and deepen relationships with existing customers.
• Perform teller transactions with accuracy to minimize teller outages.
• Open consumer and business accounts with accuracy to ensure operational excellence.
• Adhere to the company’s core values and mission statement.
• Understand and perform all essential duties of new accounts and teller functions with expertise to ensure consistency with company practices, policies, and procedures.
• Exhibit sales and service behaviors consistent with the bank’s core values and profit objectives.
• Provide "flawless" service at all branch touchpoints.
• Identify and share ways to mitigate service weaknesses and exploit potential service strengths to differentiate the bank in the market.
• Support the attainment of branch goals and collaborate with Retail Management, Training, Internal Audit, and Security on compliance and process improvement.
• Answer customer inquiries about products, rates, and services.
• Assess customer needs to cross-sell appropriate products and services.
• Refer new business to other bank areas such as Mortgage, Credit Cards, and Wealth Management.
• Develop and build customer loyalty.
• Adhere to work schedules as directed by the Branch Manager.
• Maintain a positive, friendly, and professional attitude and appearance.
• Track and monitor all required documentation.
• Understand and adhere to compliance issues, including the Bank Secrecy Act, Privacy Act, US Patriot Act, and Security.
• Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.
