Full-Time Computer Technician Tier 2

About the role

The Williamsport Area School District is seeking a Full-Time Computer Technician Tier 2 with a focus on Audio-Visual Services for the Athletics Department. This position requires a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Video Production, Digital Media, Communications or Computer Science.

Responsibilities

- Provide technical support for audio-visual equipment. - Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to AV systems. - Assist with the installation and configuration of new AV equipment. - Maintain and update AV systems to ensure optimal performance. - Collaborate with teachers and staff to integrate AV technology into classroom settings.

Requirements

- Proficient in using AV equipment and software. - Strong problem-solving and customer service skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Familiarity with network infrastructure and basic computer troubleshooting.

Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree in Video Production, Digital Media, Communications or Computer Science is preferred.

Skills

- Knowledge of AV systems and components. - Experience with AV setup and integration. - Basic knowledge of networking and computer hardware.

Pay

Starting salary range: $50,899 - $53,967.
