Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Makes and services loans under standard procedures based on bank policies and federal regulations.
- Interviews loan customers; Obtains and analyzes necessary financial information; performs credit checks; prepares loan documentation.
- Makes decisions on loan and terms within own authority, or recommends loan to superior officer or loan committee.
- Counsels customers on loan options and alternatives.
- Conducts regular reviews of current loans, watches for any potential problems.
- Makes collections calls and initiates collection action as necessary.
- Corrects credit and/or loan documentation exceptions and collateral deficiencies.
- Calls on potential and existing customers as part of bank's business development activities; services existing loans; cross sells bank products and services.
- Voting member of Loan Committee.
- Participates in community affairs as a representative of the bank.
